Shiv Chanderpaul, the West Indian batsman, voted the 2008 Cricketer of the Year by Sports’ governing body, the International Cricket Council.Chanderpaul will be playing at the Sarasota International Cricket Club’s Thanksgiving Festival, November 27 – 30.

CANTERBURY, England (CMC) – Shivnarine Chanderpaul’s phenomenal run of success continued yesterday when Durham beat Kent by innings and 71 runs to lift the English County Championship Division One title for the first time.
